Hope
This painting is dedicated to breast cancer awareness and the hope that people can have in God when they choose to follow Him. Knowing that God’s will is always done gives people peace in hard times, whether it be cancer or another form of adversity. With God, there is eternal life with Him in heaven, as illustrated through the circles which are shapes with no beginning and no end. There is no need to fear death! Jesus is the giver of life and the hope for all who are ill.
Love That Lasts
Inspired by Jill Briscoe’s book with the same title, this painting reflects upon the book’s theme: when we choose to love others, we risk getting hurt. However, we become more like God, who loves even those who hated him.
Shepherd's Protection
Shepherd’s Protection, acrylic on canvas, measures 24″x48″.
Inspired by Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
The Passion of The Christ
Inspired by Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion of the Christ, this painting depicts Hsin-Lin’s spiritual love and reverence for God and his only son, Jesus Christ.
The Power of the Cross
Keith Getty, christian composer and musician, inspired this painting that complements his musical score of the same name.
