James Store Gallery Proudly Presents

Artist: Hsin-Lin Chiao My Heart Awakens Anew

This collection of paintings is a retrospective showcase of Hsin-Lin’s work from 2000- 2007. The artist will discuss the focus of her work from her previous collections Portraits of Life, Reflections, New Life, and Hope and share with guests the significance of her latest collection My Heart Awakens Anew.

Hsin-Lin’s Paintings form an intimate expression of life, revealing its beauty, complexity, and contradictions. Hsin-Lin’s style is very organic, rising out of inspiration from books, music, dance, and interaction with people. Her paintings articulate the intricacies of everyday life, looking beneath the surface of norms and beliefs, while always remaining connected to nature. These circles, which have no beginning and no end, symbolize eternal life.
